Opinion, measured.
Doxa is the ancient Greek word for public opinion or common belief. Philosophers such as Plato contrasted it with episteme—verified knowledge. DoxaIQ starts with what owners commonly report, then makes the supporting evidence, recurring patterns, and uncertainty visible.
The name reflects our purpose: not to treat popular opinion as fact, but to measure it carefully and help shoppers understand what the available evidence can—and cannot—support.

Every signal should lead back to the public source that supports it.
Incentives stay visible
Apparent owners, professional reviewers, loaned units, and disclosed sponsorships are separated—not flattened together.

Small samples, missing transcripts, and conflicting owner experiences lower confidence.

Merchant links never change the score, inclusion, ranking, or issue analysis.
Current source coverage
YouTube + TikTok
Through supported Scrape Creators endpoints, DoxaIQ collects public video titles and captions, creator names, canonical links, thumbnails, publication and view metadata, plus available transcripts and comments. It does not currently ingest Amazon reviews, Reddit, forums, Facebook, Instagram, or laboratory test data.
Data provenance & compliance
The live pipeline is designed for publicly accessible content through supported Scrape Creators endpoints. It stores the minimum text and metadata needed for analysis, records canonical source URLs and collection timestamps, respects source availability, and can remove records when content is deleted or a valid request is received. DoxaIQ does not imply creator endorsement, re-host videos, or infer sensitive personal traits.
